The Decyde 360º program goes far beyond the VII International MAMBA Basket Tournament and, in an exercise to disseminate women's basketball and its heritage in our Region, this Friday, December 1, parallel to the opening day of the basketball tournament for veterans, there will be held Decyde Talks 9 very special.
Starting at 7:00 p.m., the Occidental Murcia Agalia will be a meeting point for different generations of regional women's basketball. With the title 'Pioneers: women's basketball yesterday and today', a first sports dialogue between coaches and referees will compare the current era with a past one, in which it was more difficult to make a way, to make way for a second talk in which the professional Belén Arrojo, Hozono Global Jairis player, will talk with two veteran MAMBA players about the comparison of playing and competing at the highest level, with that of doing it at an older age for pure pleasure.
The event will serve to honor Encarna Hernández, the Girl of the Hook, and will be attended by Elena Jiménez, a veteran journalist from Spanish Television who learned very closely the story of this pioneer in the sport of basket from Lorca.
